Pella, Iowa - the Dutch City

We had heard a ton of things about a city in Iowa called Pella. This is also the place where Pella Windows and Doors headquarters is. This city is very small and has tons of windmills. It was founded by the Dutch and so it is pure Dutch. There are places to get the little wooded shoes, places to get amazing Dutch bakery items, and there are a couple museums that you can tour about the city and famous people who lived there!

We of course visited the bakeries there and got as many items as we wanted to try. They did not disappoint! Each pastery was so delicious in its own way!

On our way home we went past a lake that a lady working at the museum said wasn't too far away and that everyone goes boating at! It was massive and the pictures of the beach looked really fun! We can't wait to visit there one of these days!
