Rivalry Week - Utah v. BYU

So our new ward probably thinks I am the craziest woman alive. For rivalry week we wanted to do something fun to kick off the big game! We decided it would be a lot of fun to host a BBQ and have a lot of the people from the new ward as well as our already established friends over. We had about 20 people there no including kids. It was so much fun and we had a pretty good mixture of Utah and BYU fans (Utah fans outnumbered BYU fans though). We love hosting parties and Chad said he has never cooked that many burgers in his life! Since the game started so late we had time between the end of the BBQ and the start of the game so we just hung out at home. We went to a couple's house that is in our new ward to watch the game and just had Lincoln at our friend's house next door so that he wouldn't be woken up by the loud (and I mean really loud) Utah fans. It was so much fun and I know Chad really enjoyed watching the game with BIG Utah fans. He has watched a couple with them since. It was so much fun making new friends and having a good time!
