We have a fun family here in our new ward that absolutely loves Halloween! One night after I had put Lincoln to bed I was watching TV and cuddling on the couch with Kort. All of the sudden there was a knock on the door which made Kort go crazy barking. I was trying to get Kort to calm down and picked him up at the door. As I was picking him up I glanced out the window and saw some feet off to the side but didn't think anything of it. As soon as I opened the door this couple jumped out with masks on and scared the living daylights out of Kort and I. After talking to them for a minute they asked where Chad was. I said he was back studying and they were welcome to scare him as well. Spencer's eyes lite up like a kids eyes on Christmas morning. He went back to his office but as he opened the door Chad looked up so he quickly shut it. I decided just walking in wouldn't scare him so I got my phone and texted Chad asking him to come to the living room. Spencer got ready and as Chad opened the door he jumped at him. Chad was so scared he was ready to punch Spencer in the face and Spencer was going to stand there and take it because it was totally worth scaring Chad even more than me :). They said that he goes in the books for the top 4 scares (they have scared a lot of people every year).
This same couple threw a Halloween party this last Friday night. It was complete with Halloween treats, fun costumes, and prizes for various things! It was so much fun. This was the first Halloween party that Chad and I have been to since we have been married. It will probably not be the last either! Here are some fun pictures from that night.
