- He loves his daddy! One day he knew Chad was in his office and so he crawled back there and stood up by the door and started knocking on the door saying "Dada!" It was probably one of the cutest things I have seen him do and Chad couldn't resist coming out to say hi.
- He also loves his puppy Kort. He is constantly trying to play with him but Kort isn't too sure of him yet. But Kort is very protective and watchful of Lincoln.
- He LOVES animals in general and always points them out when he sees them and gets excited and starts talking and squealing and if he knows the noise of the animal he makes the noise.
- His favorite foods are fruit, quesadillas, chicken nuggets, any kind of sweet treat, pop, and his baby food pouches. Dinner is usually a nightmare but we are working on it.
- Bath time is still one of his favorite things to do. As soon as I start the water he comes as fast as he can. He is getting daring in his bath and standing now as well.
- He is still just crawling but he pulls himself up to standing and will now walk along the furniture and if something is close enough he will transfer to something else. He also will walk holding our hands but only on his terms (more often now than usual).
- He loves to talk. I swear this kid is always talking. I love it. He now says a few words: marble, ball, car, dog (sometimes), tiger, night night, bird, and bad (mind you he says this while shaking his finger at what is being "bad").
- He knows a couple animal sounds. The lion, is the one thing we can get him to do consistently. The cat, duck and sometimes the dog. He also know what a car and train do.
- He loves to go on walks and play at the playground. He recently decided he was going to go down the slide on his belly face first, and loves it!
- He loves Baby Einstein movies. Whenever he watches them he goes into a complete trans. He even mimics some of the scenes in the movies now.
- He now has 10 teeth and 1 coming in still. I absolutely love his smile!
- He points at everything and has an opinion about everything (especially things he doesn't want to do).
- He is 33 inches tall (96th percentile), weighs 25 pounds (88th percentile), and has a big noggin (99th percentile)! He is in 2T clothes now!
I love watching him change day to day. He is so busy all the time but is finally willing to sit with me or Chad for at least a few minutes and he gives us loves (they are kinda awkward and quick but we will take what we can get). Chad and I feel so blessed to have this little spirit in our lives. He keeps us on our toes but we couldn't imagine life without him!
