A little post not about Lincoln!

So this post isn't all about Lincoln. It is actually about the job that I have recently stumbled upon and how much fun I have doing it.

When I first moved out to Iowa I had a friend ask me if I could help out by dressing up like a princess to do an event in Des Moines. I was pregnant at the time so I wasn't able to help but thought it would be a lot of fun. I never thought much more about it until we moved into our new place. I met the owner of Storybook Adventures and little by little learned more about her company. Then finally one day I decided I would actually look into becoming a princess for Storybook Adventures.

I went through training and scheduled my first few parties! So exciting!

My first party/event was called Toddler Fest. I was to dress up like Ana from Frozen and go to this with Elsa (the girl who first asked me to be a princess). It was a meet and greet so it was easy and fun and a good introduction into the princessing world!

My second party was a 2 hour party for the cutest birthday girl! She was turning 4 and was a ball of cuteness and energy! Thankfully I was not alone for this party. I was Tinkerbell and was accompanied by my friends Elsa, Ariel, and our Lady In Waiting! This party was a perfect party!

That day was a long day but so extremely fun and I knew this would be something I could do for work!

My next 2 parties were scheduled that following Saturday. This day was pretty easy. I got to be Elsa and go to 2 different birthday parties to make 2 wonderful girl's dreams come true!

The next Saturday I only had one party. I was Ariel (super fun costume and wig)! It was so fun!

I cannot wait for my next party! I hope I am "Brave" enough for the job!
